We want our customers and future customers to understand that Vexx is more than just your regular shake. It is a shake with everything in it that your body needs. Exactly 1/3 of your daily requirements of all nutrients. So by consuming Vexx you will get your daily portion of vitamin A, B6, B12, C, D, E, K, fiber, protein, zinc, calcium, magnesium, iron and more. This is a more complete nutritional value than practically any other ‘normal’ meal.

In order to show you that Vexx is made of high quality products that are super healthy for your body we decided that it would be interesting to compare Vexx with other high nutrient dense food. Food that you regularly eat in daily life. Every week we will post a different nutritional comparison. This week we compare Vexx with Salmon.

Plant-based food vs. Salmon

Salmon is known as one of the most nutritious foods in the world. This due to its high Omega-3 content and because it is packed with tons of other vitamins and minerals. We wanted to compare Vexx (completely vegan) against Salmon in order to show you that it is possible to get all essential nutrients based on a plant-based diet. It is not necessary to eat fish or meat. There are many other alternatives that are just as healthy or even healthier. The growing trend to eat fish is harming the ocean. According a study by National Geographic, the loss of ocean biodiversity is accelerating, and 29 percent of the seafood species humans consume have already crashed. If the long-term trend continues, in 30 years there will be little fish left and species go extinct.

In this infographic 1 vexx meal is compared to 100 g (one portion) of salmon. Compared are proteins, omega 3, omega 6 and which vitamins are in each product.
